This is a new bill proposed by the Torrey Republic on February 13, 2019.
The Government Transparency Act of 2019 Introduced by Torrey Republic to the Regional Congress of the United Nations of the Atlantic on 13 February 2019
RECOGNIZING that there has been vocal opposition to the current Government from throughout the United Nations of the Atlantic,
NOTING the free and democratic spirit of our region as enshrined in our Constitution,
REASONING that our Government ought to not only carry out the responsibilities of their respective positions as outlined in Article III of the Constitution of the United Nations of the Atlantic but must also be responsible for demonstrating the work they have accomplished to such ends,
THIS CONGRESS ENACTS that all Regional Constitutional Officers must submit a weekly report of their goals and accomplishments to the Speaker of the Congress and to the Regional Message Board,
AND THAT failure to do so three times will result in the introduction of Articles of Impeachment against the offending officer for ‘misdemeanors’ and ‘proven incompetence’ as stated in Article V, Section II of the Constitution of the United Nations of the Atlantic.

Mr. Speaker, I arise today to debate on the " Government Transparency Act".
I beleive this Act is saying that Transparency will promote accountability and provide an opportunity for nations in our regions to be better informed about what is going on in their region. This will help create a better dialogue between residents and government officials and results in better policy decisions. Transparency is also a time saver – having an existing method of being able to push information out means governments spend less time on public disclosure. It’s also a time saver in terms of public knowledge and discussion. With the public being aware of existing policies and background to how and why decisions are made, and officials can spend less time on the “history” of issues and more time on “what should we do next”. Where I do Stand with this Bill, do not agree with Regional Officers being Impeach failing to submit a weekly report of their goals and accomplishment. And I move Amend Regional Officers sumitting Weekly goals to Bi-weekly goals making it much Easier to accomplish the goals they set for themselves.
